Snowboarding
Went to enjoy the snow and had a go at snowboarding. Pretty eventful weekend. Started with me sleeping in through my alarm and having to hop on a cab to make it on time. Then realising I lost my wallet half way and having to come back to find my wallet lying on the road where i picked the cab. Boarding was fine and included some spectacular crashes. the return trip was eventful too as the ontehr Andrew's car got smashed from behind. Canadians don't seem to understand the importance of slowing down when there's a snow storm out there

The Dresden Dolls
The Dresden doll performed 2 blocks aways from my house so couldn't really miss them. After waiting in a 45 minutes queue ( so much for pre-purchasing tickets ) me and Heather from H3 finally got in. Was expecting a bit more of a burlesque thing with costume change but it was still pretty good.

Halloween's Hash
Wednesday was the Halloween hash hared by Rose Eh. Everyone showed up in gear and the big question was who is the halfmind in the Lion costume. he hashed all night without lifting the veil and even abstained from drinking at the beer Check. He finally revealed himself at down-down. It was none other than our newly named hasher Poopie Le Blond.

Halloween
This was my first ever Halloween party. Pretty Fun actually. Was good to have Kate my new house-mate (everyone says room-mate here) come along. I'm still getting my head around every party in town finishing at 2am. Liquor licensing laws doesn't allow alcohol service after 2.. Don't get it.

New ride and New house.
Went to the Bicycle show yesterday and bought myself a new ride. The Kona Cinder Cone 07. That was actually the ride I was plannig to get back in Aus last year. I ended up getting the DiamondBack BSX pro. Let's hope I've got enough courage to ride the new baby through winter. In this photo lot is a shot of the new ride in front of the new house I'll be moving in tomorrow.

Meet the Hashers
As part of socialising and meeting new people I've joined the Hogtown Hash House Harriers. It's a drinking club with a running problem. I've been to my 5th run so far and has yet to get a nickname. Photos are of this weekend's run... Much more toned down than the usual as we had kids with us this time. Ended up at Sweek Cheek's for a BBQ and some beer.

Nuit Blanche anf Flyerman
Went to catch up with Mel at Nuit Blanche las Sat night. The streets were packed with people and since I didn't know the direction I decided to ask some random guy. That Random guy happened to be the local celebrity, as I was later to find out,FLYERMAN.There's a movie about him. Next thing I know were both sharing the same cab on our way to the Drake.
